Amelie von Wulffen

The catalogue for the German artist’s first solo museum show in the U.S., at the Aspen Art Museum. It focuses on her recent paintings, including work made during her 2012 residency there. They move away from the photographic collage she’s best known for and wryly revisit the tropes of modern painting from European Romanticism onward.
